Music app created for group exercise professionals
Supplier: Schwinn
More Schwinn details |
Schwinn has brought its new Class Tamer music player to market for use on iPads and iPhones, which can be used by cycling class instructors to lead effective sessions for group workouts.
Designed with the help of Schwinn’s global team of instructors, the app features scrollable notes pages to allow instructors to input and save cueing notes, music tags and BPM counts for specific songs.
Other features include the ability to modify the tempo of songs during a ride, 10 sound effects to help add excitement to classes, and a stopwatch that operates independently of the song timer, allowing for more efficient conduction of interval training.
Users will also be able to create and save ride playlists by accessing songs, playlists, albums and artists directly from iTunes.
An Android version of the app is expected later in 2014.
