Have you ever looked at flyers and posters for a health club or leisure centre and thought, "it's a gym, but I'm not sure which one"?
At Hattrick, making our clients marketing designs fresh and distinct so that they stand out from the crowd and generate enquiries is what we do.
Here's some rules of thumb we apply every day...
1. Keep it simple!.... Really. We mean it. Say too much, no-one reads anything!
2. Always keep in mind the personality of the brand? … the tone of voice we should use.
3. Always keep in mind the key values of the brand that make each customer different.
4. For the specific campaign - ie the job the design & marketing materials need to do – always answer the key questions of the Creative Brief:
- a. Why are we advertising?
- b. Who are we talking to?
- c. What is the single, most important thing we want to say?
- d. Why should they believe us?
- e. How do we want them to react?
If your marketing material answers these questions clearly –without confusing the message with lots of other information then we’re on the right track to creating marketing material that looks different to competitors, represents our client’s brand and, ultimately, speaks to the target audience to make them take notice & react!
At Hattrick there’s never a one-size-fits-all creative design solution.
